Fontana Village Resort Trip - overnighter

Awesome rides.

KSU @ 8 am at Fort Bragg Harley-Davidson.

For those riding to Fontana Village, we will be KSU at 8:00am on 10 Aug 2023 from FBHD. We will stop for lunch along the way, preferably at a BBQ location for those working on their HOG eat Hog patch. We should arrive in Fontana Village around 4 or 5 o'clock that afternoon. Dinner can be at the lodge where they have a restaurant or a grill. FYI Fontana Village has no Wifi and Cell phone signal is very weak so let your loved ones know that you may be out of reach in the evening when we are in the village. For those tracking their counties in NC here is a list of the counties that we will be passing through on our trip out:
Cumberland, Hoke, Scotland, Richmond, Anson, Union, Mecklenburg, Gaston, Cleveland, Rutherford, Polk, Henderson, Buncombe, Haywood, Jackson, Swain, and Graham.

When you call to make your Reservations please let them know your with the Fort Bragg Harley Owner Group. This way they can put you in a Cabin close by. Several folks have already booked their cabins. “Early Bird gets the worm!”


There is another HOG Group that is going the same weekend. The Cabins are going quick. So I would advise you to book today!

Closed Event: Chapter activities are conducted primarily for the benefit of H.O.G. Chapter members. Closed Events are those events open to Chapter members and one guest per member.  All guests must sign an event release. Be aware, all rides and events are subject to change or cancellation due to weather or other circumstances beyond our control.

Impairment Policy: The consumption and use of alcohol is a serious personal responsibility involving the safety of family, riding friends and the individual HOG member. Alcohol consumption before or during a motorcycling activity is not safe, responsible behavior. Fort Bragg Chapter #2274 does not allow the use of alcohol or drugs before or during a riding event* and does not furnish alcohol at Chapter rides. Riders whose skills are observed or suspected to be impaired by alcohol or drugs before riding cannot join the ride. Riders using alcohol or drugs while riding will be asked to leave the ride. It is the responsibility of each Template Chapter member to support the consistent enforcement of this policy

Photography Policy: Photographing, filming, recording and videotaping of activities and events will be occurring Fort Bragg Chapter events. By entering the H.O.G.® event area, you irrevocably grant permission to the Harley-Davidson Motor Company® and its agents to photograph, film, record and/or videotape you and use (and authorize the use of) your name, image, likeness, voice, and/or biographical or other information in any and all media now known or hereinafter developed in perpetuity for any and all purposes.
